I am glad I read this and I did root for the characters BUT unless she includes more plot I will not try her again. She is 28 years old and writes about her generation's time at school and university and it rings true and she writes well but apart from the young main characters, there is no detail in the characterisation of the older generation who so affect the abused romantic leads. Is the book a cautionary tale for those in abusive relationships to wake up and refuse to be accepting of what comes because they are not worthless?.
