Very graphic description of the chaos and destruction after the Great Fire of London. It gave a very real feeling of how it must have been for those having to cope with it. Quite a good story but without very much characterisation. We could not help comparing it with books by C J Sansom, which are far superior in many ways. One the whole, a good, easy read. 7/10
