Best friend. Soul mate. Confidante. Backstabber. Amy thought she knew who Melissa was - then again, Amy also thought she was on the verge of the wedding of her dreams to her long-distance fiance. When her career suddenly begins to unravel, Amy pays a surprise trip home to London. Her boyfriend Jack is out, but it looks like another woman has been making herself at home. And that other woman is Melissa. Amy has lost her job, her fiance, her best friend and her home in one disastrous weekend - but instead of falling apart she's determined to get her own back. Piecing her life back together won't be half as fun as dismantling theirs, after all.

Struggling to give this 1*, my first JF based on good reviews but I don't think I'll be bothering with any more. Betrayal & revenge but frankly all the sneaking around, keeping keys to the flat so as to come and go, hiding passport, access laptop, manipulate social media it all felt tawdry, grubby and dirty. With friends like these who needs enemies, the two of them deserved one another. I didn't have any empathy with either of them, the fact they were supposed to be late 30's behaving like immature 18 year olds. A total thumbs down from me, I skim read to get it finished.
