Did I like this book? - I don't know, did I like the people - no not really, so why did I read it to the end. JP has a knack of making you want to find out what is happening even if you find the plot outlandish and the people distasteful. The plot of a suicide pact that isn't really as one of participants isn't committed to it going along with the plan as he thinks he can change Emily's mind. Together since they were babies, grown up together, and expected by both sets of parents to eventually marry each other.
